My Friends are Everywhere - 2

As I was walking home yesterday I saw this guy at the bus stop. When I smiled hello at him I realised he lived in our neighbourhood.

"What are you doing this far from home?" he said.

"I'm walking home."

"Why aren't you getting the bus home?" he said.

"Because I prefer to walk."

"Do you want me to pay for your fare?"

"No, I'm fine, thank you."

"Well, have a safe journey home," he said.

It's good to know I have friends everywhere looking out for me.
