Thank you for stopping by.

With love,

I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the ace
Sometimes the deuces
It's my life and there's no
return and no deposit
One life, so it's time to
open up your closet
Life's not worth a damn till you can say
Hey world I am what I am I am What I am, lyrics

Welcome to another new blog, which is a continuation from my previous blog: I Need Not Want.

I'm a huge fan of the Star Trek franchise, which I find very inspiring.

One of my favourite episodes of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" is called True Q about a young woman called Amanda who joins the ship hoping to study with Doctor Crusher and become a doctor some day. While Amanda is pursuing that career, she's discovering that she's not only able to manifest her thoughts instantly, she has the power of telekinesis. Once she's able to avert an engineering disaster that could have destroyed the ship. It is then Q a member from the "Q Continuum" of omnipotent beings enters the scene and confesses that he'd "created" the disaster in order to test once and for all if Amanda is a Q. Q agrees to help Amanda come to terms with who she is as a Q. Q wants Amanda to move to the "Q Continuum" but Amanda doesn't want to. Amanda faces a dilemma: if she stays in the ship and pursues her career, she has to agree not to use her powers; otherwise she will have to leave the ship. Amanda struggles with this decision until when a planet is facing certain disaster she uses her power to save it. It is then Amanda realises she should stop fighting who she is. She is a Q.

I can very much relate to Amanda's dilemma. In this human dream, the dominant programming about denying our greatness in order to fit into a world dedicated to smallness and being ordinary; a word dedicated to effects. When I remembered my true self as Infinite Light I knew I had to either live as Light or deny who I am and play the game of being stupid so I can be accepted.

Well, I have no intention of denying what I am. I am the Shape Shifter expressing myself as the many ways of being.

In this blog, I shall continue to share my experiences of the wonder of living as Light and being true to who I am.

As always, the articles I'm sharing are my meanings, perspective and model of reality and not meant to instruct readers in any way. Make of them what you will.

These Feet Were Made for Walking

One thing I love about going for long walks is that I get to discover more about myself.

Recently while I was on a walk with a friend, I took him to a park I'd discovered a while back. At the time I also wanted to show him an idyllic spot that overlooks the river that I love but I couldn't remember how to get there.

So I decided to explore that park again with the intention of finding that idyllic spot. Then I had a brilliant idea: why not ask my feet to take me where I need to go? As I was walking I kept wondering whether I should turn left or right and ended up somewhere else.

"OK, feet, I'm going to just let you take me to the spot!"

I relaxed and let my feet take over. It felt like I was being lead by a dog on lead. I watched as the "dog" took the opposite direction. It was then I remembered where we were. In a few minutes I was exactly where I needed to be.

"Good dog!"

I sat on a bench to enjoy the scenery and marvelled at how beautiful and peaceful it was.

After I'd had enough drinking in the scenery, I asked my feet to take me on a long walk, somewhere I've never been to before. I said I expected the walk to be delightful.

My feet took me all the way to the Olympic Park, currently under construction for the 2012 Olympics. On the way I got chatting to this woman cyclist about the pros and cons of hosting the Olympics. My friend wasn't keen on the idea as she thought it was a waste of money. I told her I believed it's brings new opportunities, which we are enjoying now such as areas of London being regenerated. I said I was looking forward to the actual events. We also talked about what it means to find a place where your heart is. I told her my heart is in the UK. My friend was born in England and moved to America when she was two years old. She's recently moved to the UK and can't decide whether her heart is in the UK. She said she loves where she's living at the moment, which happens to be only up the road from me. We talked about our love for the local marshes and the canal. I even recommended places for her to explore.

I also met a man and woman walking their Bichon Frise dog which, to me, looked like walking cotton wool. The dog was very affectionate. I asked her how big that breed grows and she said she was now an adult dog (8 months old). She said although the dog's fur doesn't moult, it does grow quite fast and she has to keep trimming it. She also bathes her once every week.

At the Olympic Park, there were other people on guided tour exploring the park, which looks a long way from finishing. I chatted to some security guards about the area. They asked me where I had come from. I told them I had no idea how far in terms of distance, all I knew was I'd been walking continuously for over two and a half hours.

I decided it was time to head back home. I asked my feet to take me back the quickest route and I didn't need to rest until I got home.

One thing about my feet is if left to their own devices, they would keep me going for ages. That's when I have to put my foot down and say "Enough is enough!"

Thank you, feet, for another enjoyable walk.

My Inspiration

As I was going for a long via the canal, I saw two cyclists, a man and a woman, ahead. The woman told me to walk ahead. She said she's quite new to cycling and didn't want to slow me down. Her comment made me stop. I told her that I never had a bicycle as a child so I never learned to cycle. The woman, who looked in her forties, said she only learned to cycle two years ago, but she's been too scared to practise. She said she was very nervous.

"Well, you're my inspiration," I patted her shoulder. "Keep going!"

The woman pointed to another guy on a cycle ahead who was waiting for them.

"See, this woman can't cycle either," she told her friend.

The frightened look on her face as she cycled away had me in stitches.

As I continued my walk, I noticed how the cyclists were so confident. One cyclist had one hand on the bar and another texting on his mobile. I wonder how long it's going to take my friend to get to that level?

After I had been walking for about 10 minutes, I came across the woman and her two friends patiently beside her.

"I didn't expect to see you again!" I teased her.

"I told you, I'm a bit nervous," she chuckled.

"At least you can cycle," I said. "It's a matter of gaining confidence."

"I bet when you learn to cycle you'll learn quickly," she said. "It takes me ages to learn anything."

"I believe in you!" I said. "Remember, you are my inspiration. If you can do it, I can do it."

We chatted for a few minutes about canal boats. She said she and her partner were interested in buying one some day.

As they cycled off, I shouted to her, "I don't expect to see you again!"

I went into a park and relaxed on a bench for about half an hour. When I left the park and continued my walk I thought of my friend and wondered how she was doing. A guy cycling by smiled and said hello. I returned his smile. It was then I realised he was a friend of the lady cyclist who was a few yards behind. She told me they'd cycled a fair distance.

"Well done!" I said.

"Take care," she said, as she and her friends cycled away.

You never know when you're being an inspiration to someone.

One day I'll learn to cycle but not today.

Why the Long Face?

As I was going for a walk by the canal, I noticed two dogs; one was sitting in a canal boat and the other one was sitting outside. The dog outside was whining and looking so miserable I stopped to chat to him.

"Hi mate, why the long face?"

The dog whined and then picked up a stone in its mouth and dropped it at my feet.

"What do you want me to do with the stone? Play fetch?"

I hurled the stone away and the dog ran and caught it in his mouth and brought it to me.

"Good dog!" I said.

I threw the stone again and he caught it in his mouth and returned it to me.

I applauded. By this time the dog had slobbered all over the stone but I was having too much fun to care. I threw the stone in the air and the dog tried to catch it but missed. He brought the stone back to me.

I threw it again and he caught it in his mouth and brought it to me.

"Listen, mate, I can't stay here all day playing fetch with you," I said to him. "I have to go."

After stroking his head, I walked away without looking back otherwise I would have stayed playing fetch forever.

Later I thought about how dogs remind me of my nature as joy. I know I feel down when I'm not expressing my joy. No wonder my friend was looking so unhappy as he wasn't expressing his joy at the time.

At least we got to play for a few minutes.

Not on My Watch!

When I went to bed I heard some young guys chatting and laughing in the street not far from the bedroom window. I decided to meditate for a while until I fell asleep.

I had a vivid dream about receiving emails from someone who has been rather emotionally distance lately. The emails didn't sound at all like this particular individual, which made me wonder what had brought on this dramatic change of heart all of a sudden. I wasn't convinced that the person's words were sincere. Just as I was responding to one of the emails, I woke up.

When I checked the time, it was about 1 am. I was aware that the guys were now standing right outside the bedroom window with their voices raised several notches and laughing loudly. When I peeked out of the curtain, one of the guys looked my way. I knew he couldn't see me, but I thought it was interesting how he looked in my direction. As I believe there's good in everything, even if it's an experience I don't particularly like, I knew that their presence was either an important gift to myself or they were mirroring a belief I have.

For instance, a few weeks back, someone stopped their car right outside the window at around 6 am and blared music which woke me up. Just as I was going to "blast" whoever it was with my light ray, the next song that came on turned out to be a song I'd been trying to recall. After the song finished, the car drove off.

Why have I called these lads to me right at this moment? How am I feeling? I'm actually feeling really good.

It was then it became clear. The lads represent a belief I have to love and accept people even if I don't like their behaviour. This way, I'm always being Love. That's all very well but I don't have to put up with behaviour that doesn't resonate with who I am. I can choose to love from a distance. I decided that right at that moment I wanted peace outside the bedroom window. So I thought "I AM Peace and Peace attracts Peace." After repeating the thought a few times, I felt my body filled with Peace and feeling it radiating everywhere.

In less than five minutes the lads moved away from the window. The interesting thing was they did not move out of the area completely, just several houses down; obviously, to people who resonated with their behaviour. I also noted that they did not change their behaviour either; they still continued to chat and laugh loudly.

It was never my intention to change the boys' behaviour anyway which, as I see it, would only have been a temporary measure. It's rather like having someone under your spell where they act differently when they're around you. I have had many occasions when people have been uplifted in my presence and acted or said something under that influence. When they revert to the frequency they're used to, they can't remember acting or saying what they had. It was as if they'd been dreaming. I believe the reason why they had forgotten was because they were acting in a way that wasn't "natural" for them at the time. I believe in order for someone to always be in their joy, the individual has to do the work necessary for transformation. Whether transformation occurs rapidly or not depends on the individual's beliefs and commitment.

So thank you, boys, for reminding me to honour myself at all times. And by the way, you're free to act as rowdy as you like, as long as you don't do it on my watch.
